[Klaksvík. 5 ottobre 2012. 14:00h]
-Hi there! Are you waiting for the bus, guys?
-Yes, we are. We want to go to Vidareidi.
-Aaaah, Viðareiði, OK. It’s that van over there. Number 500. You can jump in. I’ll take you there. We’re leaving in five minutes, OK?
-Takk!
[Cinque minuti dopo]
-Nice jacket -un servitore portava un chubasquero con el escudo del Barça-! So you guys are Barcelona fans! Greeeeeeeat! I looooove Barça! Most people here in the Faroes also support Barça. A few people like English teams but FC Barcelona is number one here in the islands. They have everything, you know: the style, the passing game, always attacking, the best players, the youth system… and Messi! What can you say, man? He’s incredible, he’s really really fast, no one can catch him, when you see him play…whoaaaaaaa!… one two goal, one two another goal, he never stops, he’s the best player in the world, the best player ever. Simply the best, ha ha ha!
-He really is, he he he. No doubt about it. Nothing else can be said about him. Just sit back and enjoy.
-Ha ha ha. But not only Messi. Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, the attacker on the left… Vila.
-David Villa!
-Ah, you say Villa? I will tell my friends it is Villa, ha ha ha.
-You can say it is first-hand information, he he he.
-He he he. Great striker Villa! Número uno, he he he.
-Número uno, he he he. We missed him a bit last season.
-True, but now he’s back in town!
-To kick ass!
-Ha ha ha! And tell me, is it difficult to get tickets to watch a game at the Camp Nou stadium?
-It is almost impossible for the top (Ciao Mullet4ever!) games like Champions League quarterfinals or semifinals or against Madrid but not for the rest.
-And how do you buy them?
–Viagogo! Just check on the Barça web page. It’s quite simple. You can always find a seat.
-But how many fans attend a match?
-Well, the stadium has a capacity of 100.000 people. But the socis, who are the club owners…
-100.000! My goodness, that’s twice the population of the Faroes, ha ha ha! But, excuse me, what you said about the owners?
-The socis occupy most of the seats and no matter how much you love Barça, thanks to Alexandre you’ll never be soci in your fucking like, you will remain a damned siberian wannabe but there are always some seats available.
-Ah, OK. Here many people go to Barcelona for a weekend just to go to the Camp Nou to watch a game. Now the Faroese Airline has a new airplane and is flying to Barcelona very often and you can buy the whole package for some 6000 krónur (800 €).
-Well, I guess that if you buy everything yourself it will be much cheaper. You can try.
-Oh, really? That would be great! You know, my dream is going one day to the Camp Nou and see Messi.
-Dreams are made to be achieved, man.
-That’s true, ha ha ha. I will try what you said. Thank you very much.
-You’re welcome. I hope one day we’ll meet at the Camp Nou.
-That would be amazing! You know, I’ve just remembered that I have read on my TV program that we play against Madrid on sunday. Great game, isn’t it? We’re gonna win! I will watch it for sure! I won’t miss that game, and you?
-You bet! The problem is that on sunday we’ll be in Tórshavn and we’re not sure if there’s a place… a bar or somewhere…where…
-Don’t worry about it! You have Barça everywhere! In Klaksvík I can tell you a few places… In Tórshavn I don’t know for sure but just ask anyone on the street and they will tell you. No problem. But if you want to see live football, tomorrow is the last day of the Faroese league and there will be matches all around the islands. Great day!
-Oh really? And what team do you support?
-Klaksvík, of course. We are now…
.
.
[Qui viene una explicación un po’ lunga e che lamentablemente he olvidado della tabla clasificatoria della lega feroesa]
.
.
.
-So go Klaksvik! He he he!
-Go go, ha ha ha! You know, we fight against the capital, like Barça with Real. It’s the same story here!
-[Qui le iba a preguntar si existía la brunetti feroesa e la connivencia político-económico-federativa-istituzionale dello stato con un club heredero morale e sociológico di una dittatura, ma viendo que llegábamos al destino desistí] I see, I see, almost the same.
-So, this is Viðareiði. It’s been a pleasure talking to you guys. Good bye and good luck!
-We can truly say the same thing, man. Take care and good bye!
-Just one more thing. What will be the result on sunday?
-3-0
-Greaaaat! 3-0!
